I've been a self-tanner for years and have used all sorts of foams and lotions, so I was curious to see how a spray tan would compare. After admiring the Pure Organic Tan instagram feed for months (which you really should check out!) I finally had my first one and the results were even better than I anticipated. From the very beginning, Jill was exceptionally professional (in addition to being super friendly, sweet, and helpful!) She sent me an email with everything I needed to know to prep my skin for the appointment, when and how to rinse the tan off, and how to care for it afterwards. She also asked a few questions about my skin tone, whether I tend to tan or burn in the sun, and how dark I wanted to go. This allowed her to customize the tan formula for me. The application was super quick and easy, and I felt totally comfortable the entire time. From applying a barrier cream to areas that tend to accumulate tan (like my hands and ankles) and brushing tiny stray hairs off my shoulders before getting started, to wiping off my nails after the application so that the tan wouldn't stick to my manicure – absolutely every detail was taken care of. One of the things that drew me to Pure Organic Tan over other spray tan companies is the quality of the product. I prefer to limit my exposure to potentially harmful ingredients in my personal care items, and tanning beds are a hard pass for me because of the harmful UV rays. I felt great knowing that the ingredients in Jill's spray tanning products are naturally-derived, without any harmful chemicals. There's no noticeable smell, and during the hours between the application and my first rinse, it didn't even feel sticky. The color looks very natural on me, and unlike the fake tan foams I've used in the past, my skin doesn't feel dry at all. Jill's application technique is flawless! Whether you have an event coming up, or just want a boost of self confidence, I can't recommend Jill and Pure Organic Tan enough.
